Agriculture and Investment Luncheon

Come hear Bud Hover, the President of the Washington State Department of Agriculture, speak on our state’s vast opportunities in field of agriculture as well as Washington’s initiatives in agricultural economic development

You will also be able to meet and greet our guests who are participating in our China  – Pacific Northwest Trade and Investment Summit during this luncheon.

Appointed director of the WA Department of Agriculture by State Governor Jay Inslee on April 1, 2013, Hover has since gained a reputation for his commitment to marketing agricultural products around the Tacoma region and the world. He also oversees issues concerning animal health, plant inspections, food safety, fruit and grain inspection and certification, weights and measures and pesticide registration.
