June 5, 2018 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Location: 950 Pacific Ave #310, Tacoma, WA 98402
3rd Floor U.S. Bank Conference Room
[June 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm]
The World Trade Center Tacoma, in cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Service Seattle, is hosting an event focused on saving businesses money in foreign exchange as well as the innovative use of a tax incentive for manufacturers, producers, resellers, and exporters of goods that can yield very substantial savings.
Michael Bourke of Bannockburn Global Foreign Exchange LLC and Mehrdad Ghassemieh of Harlowe & Falk LLP will be joining us.
According to Mehrdad, “If you are exporting products without an IC-DISC, you are overpaying taxes. It’s that simple. The Interest Charge Domestic Sales Corporation (“DISC”) is a tax incentive used by U.S. exporting companies to reduce their overall U.S. tax liability.”
