Mike Fowler
Mike serves as Executive Director & Senior Trade Consultant at the World Trade Center Tacoma. Co-founder and international director of a successful trading company, Mike has more than three decades of experience assisting US firms access Asian markets. His multilingual capabilities, among them proficiency in Japanese and Chinese, enable Michael to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication. Chair Emeritus of the Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance, Mike has served for several years on the Board of Directors of World Affairs Council in Tacoma. A former Senior Editor of Business Tokyo magazine, Mike holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Sophia University Graduate School of Comparative Culture in Tokyo and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Syed K.Jamal
Syed’s expertise and connections in India run deep, and he offers them to World Trade Center members for business development and expansion. As an ed-tech entrepreneur, Syed enjoys enabling young people to make more informed career choices and in assisting entrepreneurs in bringing their business concepts into reality. Syed is a blended professional, who has worked in media, higher education, international education, and nonprofits both in India and in the US. He serves on the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Council of Tacoma and mentors new entrepreneurs. As part of his organizational team, Syed leads the organization’s focus on innovation, partnerships, and client impact.
Pauline Ngom
Pauline Ngom is a Junior at the University of Southern California, working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in International Relations. She has served as the Director of Finance for USC's on-campus International Relations pre-professional organization, and was as an Membership & Business Development intern at the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. In her role at the WTC, she coordinates Globe Awards Planning/Sponsorships, Communication channels, and Membership management. Pauline is working towards master's studies in International Development and Trade.
Luis A. Morris
Luis has extensive knowledge and connections in Mexico and Latin America, which he shares with World Trade Center members for business development and expansion. With a degree in civil engineering, Luis has worked for municipalities and developers, as well as international business development for Fortune 500 companies. Luis became the first President of the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce NW Chapter, covering Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington State. Chamber members have become known as ambassadors of goodwill and have fostered countless business connections between the U.S. and Mexico. Luis’s memberships include NSPE, National Society of Professional Engineers, WEFTEC, Water Environmental Federation, AMPWA, American Public Works Association, and PMI Project Management International.
